5想到你心里无伪之信，这信是先在你外祖母罗以和你母亲友尼基心里的，我深信也在你的心里。 【niv】I have been reminded of your sincere faith, which first lived in your grandmother Lois and in your mother Eunice and, I am persuaded, now lives in you also.

26妇人说:“主啊!我敢在你面前起誓，从前在你这里，站着祈求耶和华的那妇人，就是我。 【niv】and she said to him, 'As surely as you live, my lord, I am the woman who stood here beside you praying to the Lord.
27我祈求为要得这孩子，耶和华已将我所求的赐给我了。 【niv】I prayed for this child, and the LORD has granted me what I asked of him.
28所以我将这孩子归与耶和华，使他终身归与耶和华。”于是在那里敬拜耶和华。 【niv】So now I give him to the Lord. For his whole life he will be given over to the Lord.' And he worshiped the LORD there.
