以弗所书 1：1-14， 4：1

1 奉 神1旨意，作基督耶穌使徒的保羅，寫信給在以弗所的2聖徒，就是在基督耶穌里有忠心的人。
【niv】Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, To the saints in Ephesus, the faithful in Christ Jesus:
2 愿恩惠、平安，從 神我們的父，和主耶穌基督歸與你們。
【niv】Grace and peace to you from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
3 愿頌贊歸與我們主耶穌基督的父 神，他在基督里曾賜給我們天上各樣屬靈的福氣；
【niv】Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ.
4 就如 神從創立世界以前，在基督里揀選了我們，使我們在他面前成為聖潔，無有瑕疵；
【niv】For he chose us in him before the creation of the world to be holy and blameless in his sight. In love
5 又因愛我們，就按著自己意旨所喜悅的，預定我們借著耶穌基督得兒子的名分，
【niv】he predestined us to be adopted as his sons through Jesus Christ, in accordance with his pleasure and will--
6 使他榮耀的恩典得著稱贊；這恩典是他在愛子里所賜給我們的。
【niv】to the praise of his glorious grace, which he has freely given us in the One he loves.
7 我們借這愛子的血，得蒙救贖，過犯得以赦免，乃是照他豐富的恩典。
【niv】In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, in accordance with the riches of God's grace
8 這恩典是 神用諸般智慧聰明，充充足足賞給我們的，
【niv】that he lavished on us with all wisdom and understanding.
9 都是照他自己所預定的美意，叫我們知道他旨意的奧秘；
【niv】And he made known to us the mystery of his will according to his good pleasure, which he purposed in Christ,
10 要照所安排的，在日期滿足的時候，使天上地上一切所有的，都在基督里面同歸于一。
【niv】to be put into effect when the times will have reached their fulfillment--to bring all things in heaven and on earth together under one head, even Christ.
11 我們也在他里面得了基業(“得”或作“成”)，這原是那位隨己意行作萬事的，照著他旨意所預定的，
【niv】In him we were also chosen, having been predestined according to the plan of him who works out everything in conformity with the purpose of his will,
12 叫他的榮耀，從我們這首先在基督里有盼望的人可以得著稱贊。
【niv】in order that we, who were the first to hope in Christ, might be for the praise of his glory.
13 你們既聽見真理的道，就是那叫你們得救的福音，也信了基督，既然信他，就受了所應許的聖靈為印記。
【niv】And you also were included in Christ when you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation. Having believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit,
14 這聖靈是我們得基業的憑據(原文作“質”)，直等到 神之民(“民”原文作“產業”)被贖，使他的榮耀得著稱贊。
【niv】who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God's possession--to the praise of his glory.
第4章 1 我為主被囚的勸你們:既然蒙召，行事為人就當與蒙召的恩相稱。
【niv】As a prisoner for the Lord, then, I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received.
