提多书3：3-8
===========
3我们从前也是无知、悖逆、受迷惑，服事各样私欲和宴乐，常存恶毒(或作“阴毒”)嫉妒的心，是可恨的，又是彼此相恨。
【niv】At one time we too were foolish, disobedient, deceived and enslaved by all kinds of passions and pleasures. We lived in malice and envy, being hated and hating one another.
4但到了 神我们救主的恩慈和他向人所施的慈爱显明的时候，
【niv】But when the kindness and love of God our Savior appeared,
5他便救了我们，并不是因我们自己所行的义，乃是照他的怜悯，借着重生的洗和圣灵的更新。
【niv】he saved us, not because of righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He saved us through the washing of rebirth and renewal by the Holy Spirit,
6圣灵就是 神借着耶稣基督我们救主厚厚浇灌在我们身上的，
【niv】whom he poured out on us generously through Jesus Christ our Savior,
7好叫我们因他的恩得称为义，可以凭着永生的盼望成为后嗣(或作“可以凭着盼望承受永生”)。
【niv】so that, having been justified by his grace, we might become heirs having the hope of eternal life.
彼得前书2：1-5

1所以，你们既除去一切的恶毒(或作“阴毒”)、诡诈、并假善、嫉妒和一切毁谤的话，
【niv】Therefore, rid yourselves of all malice and all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and slander of every kind.
2就要爱慕那纯净的灵奶，象才生的婴孩爱慕奶一样，叫你们因此渐长，以致得救。
【niv】Like newborn babies, crave pure spiritual milk, so that by it you may grow up in your salvation,
3你们若尝过主恩的滋味，就必如此。
【niv】now that you have tasted that the Lord is good.
4主乃活石，固然是被人所弃的，却是被 神所拣选、所宝贵的。
【niv】As you come to him, the living Stone--rejected by men but chosen by God and precious to him--
5你们来到主面前，也就象活石，被建造成为灵宫，作圣洁的祭司，借着耶稣基督奉献 神所悦纳的灵祭。
【niv】you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.
约翰福音3：1-15

1有一个法利赛人，名叫尼哥底母，是犹太人的官。
【niv】Now there was a man of the Pharisees named Nicodemus, a member of the Jewish ruling council.
2这人夜里来见耶稣，说:“拉比，我们知道你是由 神那里来作师傅的；因为你所行的神迹，若没有 神同在，无人能行。”
【niv】He came to Jesus at night and said, 'Rabbi, we know you are a teacher who has come from God. For no one could perform the miraculous signs you are doing if God were not with him.'
3耶稣回答说:“我实实在在地告诉你，人若不重生，就不能见 神的国。”
【niv】In reply Jesus declared, 'I tell you the truth, no one can see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. '
4尼哥底母说:“人已经老了，如何能重生呢?岂能再进母腹生出来吗?”
【niv】'How can a man be born when he is old?' Nicodemus asked. 'Surely he cannot enter a second time into his mother's womb to be born!'
5耶稣说:“我实实在在地告诉你，人若不是从水和圣灵生的，就不能进 神的国。
【niv】Jesus answered, 'I tell you the truth, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless he is born of water and the Spirit.
6从肉身生的就是肉身；从灵生的就是灵。
【niv】Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit.
7我说:‘你们必须重生，’你不要以为希奇。
【niv】You should not be surprised at my saying, `You must be born again.'
8风随着意思吹，你听见风的响声，却不晓得从哪里来，往哪里去；凡从圣灵生的，也是如此。”
【niv】The wind blows wherever it pleases. You hear its sound, but you cannot tell where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit.'
9尼哥底母问他说:“怎能有这事呢?”
【niv】'How can this be?' Nicodemus asked.
10耶稣回答说:“你是以色列人的先生，还不明白这事吗?
【niv】'You are Israel's teacher,' said Jesus, 'and do you not understand these things?
11我实实在在地告诉你，我们所说的是我们知道的；我们所见证的是我们18见过的；你们却不领受我们的见证。
【niv】I tell you the truth, we speak of what we know, and we testify to what we have seen, but still you people do not accept our testimony.
12我对你们说地上的事，你们尚且不信，若说天上的事，如何能信呢?
【niv】I have spoken to you of earthly things and you do not believe; how then will you believe if I speak of heavenly things?
13除了从天降下，仍旧在天的人子，没有人升过天。
【niv】No one has ever gone into heaven except the one who came from heaven--the Son of Man.
14摩西在旷野怎样举蛇，人子也必照样被举起来。
【niv】Just as Moses lifted up the snake in the desert, so the Son of Man must be lifted up,
15叫一切信他的都得永生。(或作“叫一切信的人在他里面得永生”)。
【niv】that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life.
以西结书37：1-10

1耶和华的灵(原文作“手”)降在我身上，耶和华借他的灵带我出去，将我放在平原中；这平原遍满骸骨。
【niv】The hand of the LORD was upon me, and he brought me out by the Spirit of the LORD and set me in the middle of a valley; it was full of bones.
2他使我从骸骨的四围经过，谁知在平原的骸骨甚多，而且极其枯干。
【niv】He led me back and forth among them, and I saw a great many bones on the floor of the valley, bones that were very dry.
3他对我说:“人子啊!这些骸骨能复活吗?”我说:“主耶和华啊!你是知道的。”
【niv】He asked me, 'Son of man, can these bones live?' I said, 'O Sovereign LORD , you alone know.'
4他又对我说:“你向这些骸骨发预言说:枯干的骸骨啊!要听耶和华的话。
【niv】Then he said to me, 'Prophesy to these bones and say to them, 'Dry bones, hear the word of the LORD !
5主耶和华对这些骸骨如此说:‘我必使4气息进入你们里面，你们就要活了。
【niv】This is what the Sovereign LORD says to these bones: I will make breath enter you, and you will come to life.
6我必给你们加上筋，使你们长肉，又将皮遮蔽你们，使气息进入你们里面，你们就要活了。你们便知道我是耶和华。’”
【niv】I will attach tendons to you and make flesh come upon you and cover you with skin; I will put breath in you, and you will come to life. Then you will know that I am the LORD.' '
7于是我遵命说预言。正说预言的时候，不料，有响声，有地震；骨与骨互相联络。
【niv】So I prophesied as I was commanded. And as I was prophesying, there was a noise, a rattling sound, and the bones came together, bone to bone.
8我观看，见骸骨上有筋，也长了肉，又有皮遮蔽其上；只是还没有气息。
【niv】I looked, and tendons and flesh appeared on them and skin covered them, but there was no breath in them.
9主对我说:“人子啊!你要发预言，向风发预言。说，主耶和华如此说:气息啊!要从四方(原文作“风”)而来，吹在这些被杀的人身上，使他们活了。”
【niv】Then he said to me, 'Prophesy to the breath; prophesy, son of man, and say to it, 'This is what the Sovereign LORD says: Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe into these slain, that they may live.' '
10于是我遵命说预言，气息就进入骸骨，骸骨便活了，并且站起来，成为极大的军队。
【niv】So I prophesied as he commanded me, and breath entered them; they came to life and stood up on their feet-a vast army.
