你使人归于尘土，说:“你们世人要归回。”
【niv】You turn men back to dust, saying, 'Return to dust, O sons of men.'
在你看来，千年如已过的昨日，又如夜间的一更。
【niv】For a thousand years in your sight are like a day that has just gone by, or like a watch in the night.
你叫他们如水冲去；他们如睡一觉。早晨他们如生长的草，
【niv】You sweep men away in the sleep of death; they are like the new grass of the morning-
早晨发芽生长，晚上割下枯干。
【niv】though in the morning it springs up new, by evening it is dry and withered.
我们因你的怒气而消灭，因你的忿怒而惊惶。
【niv】We are consumed by your anger and terrified by your indignation.
你将我们的罪孽摆在你面前，将我们的隐恶摆在你面光之中。
【niv】You have set our iniquities before you, our secret sins in the light of your presence.
我们经过的日子，都在你震怒之下；我们度尽的年岁，好象一声叹息。
【niv】All our days pass away under your wrath; we finish our years with a moan.
我们一生的年日是七十岁，若是强壮可到八十岁；但其中所矜夸的，不过是劳苦愁烦，转眼成空，我们便如飞而去。
【niv】The length of our days is seventy years- or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for they quickly pass, and we fly away.
谁晓得你怒气的权势?谁按着你该受的敬畏晓得你的忿怒呢?
【niv】Who knows the power of your anger? For your wrath is as great as the fear that is due you.
求你指教我们怎样数算自己的日子，好叫我们得着智慧的心。
【niv】Teach us to number our days aright, that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
